ATS systems
Automatic transfer switching — from miniature contactors to circuit breakers. Power that doesn't go away.
An ATS transfers the loads to the backup source the moment the main supply fails — instantly or with a delay when a generator needs a moment to start.
We build systems on universal controllers and, for complex sites, on PLCs. Where a power failure threatens health or business continuity, an ATS is a must.
A power outage threatens not only material losses — it can be dangerous to health and life in facilities such as hospitals. That is why the power system should be equipped with an automatic transfer switch.
How does an ATS work? When the main supply fails, the system transfers the loads to an alternative source of power. It can activate instantly or with a time delay — generator sets, for example, need a few seconds to stabilise.
The solution is used primarily in healthcare facilities, military sites, banks, public offices and data centres. Increasingly, private companies that face financial losses in the event of a sudden power failure also use it.
In healthcare facilities, high-rise buildings above 55 m and other sites where a loss of power threatens health or life, an ATS may be required by law. Even where it is not mandatory, installing one protects the financial security of the investment.
